A few Swans autographs delight the kids

THE rain couldn't dampen the enthusiasm of more than 200 kids who cam to see the Sydney Swans players this afternoon.

While the afternoon showers meant the kids clinic the star AFL players were supposed to be conducting was called off, the lengthy autograph session was a good compensation for the youngsters itching to get close to some of their heroes.

A sea of red and white hats suddenly had plenty of black ink over them as Swans players such as Dan Hannebery, Josh Kennedy and Lance 'Buddy' Franklin scrawled their signatures over anything and everything, including plenty of club posters.

Those looking for a last glimpse of the Swans before they return to their SCG base can do so when the team holds an open training session on Friday morning at the C.ex Coffs International Stadium.
