Festive drink-drivers stern warning

COFFS HARBOUR drivers have had a shocking lead-up to the festive season.

As many as 14 were caught drinking and driving in a two-night blitz, with police now bracing themselves for more outrageous behaviour as Christmas draws near.

The Coffs Coast already has a terrible drink-driving record and the latest operation on Friday and Saturday will further tarnish our reputation.

“It's disgusting,” said Coffs/Clarence crime manager, Detective Inspector Cameron Lindsay.
