Festival fun to flow

CELEBRATING all things river, the Bellingen River Festival is on today by the banks of the Bellinger.

The full day and evening of activities for all the family will includes music and community performances on two stages, land and water play zones for the kids, canoe races, twilight markets, food stalls, inflatable rock wall and lantern making.

Also, learn about the importance of river health and being water wise

A festival highlight is the community parade river crossing at sunset (about 6.30pm) led by drummers and samba dancers. Then stay into the night for more performances on stage.

It all happens riverside today at Jarrett Park, Bellingen.
