Fancy a coffee date with our Kingaroy cops?

AN EVENT in Kingaroy next week offers those in the South Burnett the chance to get to know the boys and girls in blue who help keep the region's residents safe.

The Coffee with a Cop event at Muffin Break in Kingaroy Shoppingworld will provide an opportunity to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know Kingaroy's police officers.

Kingaroy officer in charge Dave Tierney said the officers would be at the cafe from 10-11.30am on Wednesday, May 29.

"If you have a burning question for police, this is the perfect opportunity to have a conversation with officers, so make sure you come along,” Snr Sgt Tierney said.
