Family ride into holiday
THE McCullough family from New Zealand love the Cycle Queensland recreational ride so much they've made it their annual family holiday.
Tina McCullough and her husband and daughter, Emily, 11, join the ride yearly, bringing from New Zealand a single bike and a tandem bike Mrs McCullough and her daughter share.
Mrs McCullough said they would recommend the ride to anyone.
"We're hooked on them," Mrs McCullough said.
"This is the fifth Cycle Queensland ride we've done. We did some Victorian rides, but the organisation of this one is great, there's much better weather and the people are really nice," she said.
"And the best thing is we have a holiday that you come back fitter from."
