Expert to speak at summit

A WORLD leading expert in sustainable city living is to be the keynote speaker at the Coffs Harbour 2030 Summit at Coffs Harbour Education Campus on May 2.

Peter Newman is Professor of Sustainability at Curtin University and has been a champion of sustainable city living for the past 30 years. In 2001-2003, Professor Newman directed the production of WA's Sustainability Strategy in the Department of the Premier and Cabinet - the first state sustainability strategy in the world.

Professor Newman will come to Coffs Harbour to share his knowledge and ideas at the Coffs Harbour 2030 Summit.

Entry to the Summit is free and expressions of interest are currently being sought from members of the community.
