Escaped prisoner found in Roma

A MAN wanted by police after allegedly escaping from custody in Roma has been located this evening.

The 27-year-old man had allegedly escaped from police at the Roma Hospital on December 4 after being taken there for medical treatment from the Roma Watchhouse.

He has been charged with escaping lawful custody, assault police and stealing. He is expected to appear at the Roma Magistrates Court tomorrow.
