Crash remains a mystery

UPDATE: 9.30AM

QUESTIONS have been left unanswered about a white Ford ute which left the road and came to rest in an embankment near Buccarumbi bridge on Sunday. 

Emergency services raced to the scene of the incident Sunday afternoon but did not find any occupants inside the vehicle.

It is not known if the driver or if any occupants were injured.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Coffs-Clarence Police.

EMERGENCY services are currently making their way to Buccarumbi bridge after receiving a call from a member of the public about a vehicle down a nearby embankment. 

It is understood a white Ford ute has left the road and come to rest off an embankment near the bridge on the bend. 

It is not clear whether the driver or any passengers are still inside the vehicle.
