Bora Ridge crash victim airlifted to Gold Coast Hospital

A 35-YEAR old woman involved in a single vehicle accident at Bora Ridge has been airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital with serious head and other injuries.

The car is understood to have rolled over on an unsealed road in dense bush.

Emergency response teams freed the woman from the car before the medical team from the Westpac Life Saver Rescue helicopter arrived.

UPDATE, 10.05am: A WOMAN has suffered serious head injuries and injuries to her arm and abdomen in a crash on Myall Creek Rd, Bora Ridge.

A spokesman from NSW Ambulance said the crash was a single vehicle rollover.

He said paramedics were still treating the woman at the scene.


ORIGINAL REPORT: EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a car crash at Bora Ridge.

The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter has been tasked to the single vehicle rollover.

It is not known at this stage how many people were travelling in the car, or the extent of any injuries.
