ELLEN DeGeneres finally arrived in Australia this morning to much fanfare at Sydney International Airport.

The talk show host danced with the Qantas Choir before being whisked away in a car with her partner Portia de Rossi.

The 55-year-old delayed her highly anticipated trip Down Under because of the flu but seemed to be in good health today, tweeting a photo of her and Portia on a boat taking in the view of Sydney Harbour.

She will be filming at the Sydney Opera House tomorrow at noon before travelling to Melbourne next week.

Fan Christian Burke has been following DeGeneres's every movement and told B105's Labby, Stav and Abby that the TV star has booked out a Queensland Island for a week for her and Portia's family.
