Eight locals picked for talent program

CONGRATULATIONS to the eight very talented young Suns' players who have been chosen for the highly prestigious TAP (Talented Athlete Program) camp to be held over the next two weeks at the Narrabeen Sports Academy.

The group consists of Alyson Willmott, Georgia Martin, Jayden Ainsworth, Brittany Gionolli-Wilson, Arnad Hajdic, Christopher Hartsuyker, Macthany Nebo and Jordon Black who gained selection in the final list of 30 country boys and 30 country girls following their participation at the Waratah Development Camps earlier this year.

The girls have been in camp at Narrabeen from Monday while the boys will go next week.

The camp combines the latest in basketball skills and techniques, along with sessions on nutrition, sports psychology, injury prevention and fitness testing.
