Education help at hand

EDUCATIONAL expenses can stack up fast, so why not apply for The Smith Family’s Saver Plus program which matches dollar for dollar school costs of up to $500.

Many Coffs Harbour families are already taking advantage of the Saver Plus program and are saving for school expenses, but there are 60 places still available.

By joining Saver Plus you could receive $500 to help pay for school items including computers, excursions, books, uniforms and costs for extra-curricular activities such as sport or music or for expenses related to adult education, TAFE fees, trade tools and more.

To be eligible you must be a parent or guardian of a student or be attending vocational training, have a health care or pension card, and have some form of income from paid employment.

This can be as simple as a couple of hours baby sitting on a regular basis.

The program is designed to help families achieve a savings goal, establish a long-term saving habit and pay for education.

ANZ gives participants one dollar for every one dollar they save (up to $500).
