Early Mayak double puts Lions on path to success at Urunga

A DOUBLE to Gum Mayak within the space of two minutes put Coffs United on target to eventually roll Urunga 3-0 away from home.

It was a decisive incident on a tough afternoon for the Raiders who rarely taste defeat at the Cabbage Patch and while they dominated for long patches in the second stanza, a third goal to the Lions sealed the deal.

It was a better outcome for Urunga's women's premier league outfit with a strong 4-1 away win against Woolgoolga Wildcats.
