Dynamic duo has got it all covered

WITH the Yellow Pages and White Pages throwing its support behind national animal welfare charity PetRescue, a Coffs Harbour local and her gorgeous dog will feature on the front cover of the next edition due to hit doorsteps from next week.

The cover will feature Dee Spinks, a local animal rescue advocate and volunteer at Animal Rescue Coffs Harbour (ARCH), alongside her best friend, Minnie, the border collie cross as the cover is being used to help re-home some of the region's four-legged friends.

Dee's love of animals led her to become a volunteer at ARCH where she's helped to save many dogs, like Minnie.

Speaking on behalf of PetRescue, Dee is a strong believer that there is a home for every rescue pet.

"Working with local pounds and rescue agencies means we can identify these animals quickly and place them with welcoming foster carers.

"We have been running since 2013 and in that time we have built up a network of caring volunteers and foster carers who give up their spare time to help keep our animals safe.

"As a non-profit organisation we host lots of fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds for ARCH, and help spread responsible animal ownership awareness."
