Drug charges at Ulmarra

A man was yesterday charged for drug and firearm offences at Ulmarra.

About 2.50pm on Tuesday, 24 September, police executed a search warrant at a home on Possum Hole Lane.

They seized 127 items, including an amount of amphetamine, two firearms, a cross bow, ammunition, power tools, four motorbikes, one quad bike, and numerous allegedly stolen personal items.

NSW Fire and Rescue also attended the search warrant, to secure chemicals located at the home.

Yesterday a 33-year-old man was arrested and charged at Grafton Police Station with 15 offences relating to possession of prohibited drugs, goods in custody, not keeping firearm safe, possessing unauthorised firearm, possessing unregistered firearm, possessing unauthorised firearm and possessing ammunition without authority.

He was conditionally bailed and will appear at Grafton Local Court on Monday 21 October 2013.
