Driving rain makes way for the Show ‘n' Shine

SUNSHINE saved Coffs Harbour's Show and Shine on Sunday.

After teeming rain on Saturday threatened to wash out the event, the duco on the vintage cars and hot rods was sparkling and the purchase of a new birth monitoring machine for the maternity ward at the Coffs Harbour Campus is in reach.

Families, friends, collectors and the curious were out to see the vintage, veteran, classic and modern cars and bikes on display at Advocate Park.

The crowds enjoyed a break from wet conditions by strolling through the 150 cars, utes, hot rods and motorcycles on show.

The Rotary Club of Sawtell and Shannon's Insurance were thrilled with the crowd attendance, the money raised and, of course, the glorious sunshine.
