Driver refused to 'blow in the bag'

COFFS Harbour police stopped two drunk drivers on Thursday night, including one man who resisted arrest after refusing to blow into the bag.

Police stopped a vehicle on Elm Street in Coffs Harbour at 12.10am Friday.

A 25-year-old man refused to undertake a random breath test and subsequently struggled with police upon arrest. He was charged with failing to supply a breath analysis, driving while disqualified, possessing of a prohibited drug and resisting arrest.

Earlier that night at 8pm police stopped a vehicle at Emerald Beach.

A 47-year-old male returned a breath analysis of 0.05 and was charged with a low range PCA.
