
Downs man on rape and child sex charges before court
A WESTERN Downs man charged with child sex matters and armed robbery is to take his case directly up to the higher court.
The 51-year-old, who cannot be named, appeared briefly in Toowoomba Magistrates Court beside his solicitor Brenton Day of TASC (Toowoomba Advocacy and Support Centre) who asked for an adjournment as the case would go by way of registry committal up to the District Court.
