Downs duo pitches in to help state team
SOFTBALL: Nick Murphy and Linc Walk's Queensland team is dominating the under 17 national championships.
The Toowoomba softballers are in Sydney this week with the state squad to take on the top teams in the country.

The pair is no stranger to representative softball and was part of the U15s state squad last year.
Toowoomba coaching coordinator Jakye Reynolds worked with the pair throughout their representative softball careers and said their call up was well deserved.
"Linc is one of the quickest pitchers in Queensland for his age,” Reynolds said.
"And Nick is a really good team batter.
"Whenever you need someone to hit the ball he's always there to do it.”

The other teams have not come close to defeating Queensland at the national tournament.
After day four yesterday Queensland remained undefeated with an average winning margin of eight points. They posted their biggest win against ACT yesterday of 13-0.
Round games will continue tomorrow with finals to start on Friday.
