Adelaide poised to hit GWS for six in Sydney

DON'T be surprised if Adelaide hits GWS for six in Sydney tomorrow.

The Crows players and coaching staff were given a presentation after training yesterday by one of the club's biggest fans, Aussie cricket coach Darren Lehmann.

Despite the differences between the sports, Adelaide mentor Brenton Sanderson said he hoped Lehmann's address would help the team stop its inconsistent form over the past few weeks.

"We can learn a lot, even though it's a different industry and a different sport, there's a lot of similarities between the coaches and the players," he said.

"The anxiety - when you walk out to bat at the MCG on Boxing Day, similar anxieties (to) walking out on Adelaide Oval, first quarter of a Showdown."

After their surprise win against Port Adelaide last weekend, a Crows victory could see them sneak into the top eight if the Suns lose to Collingwood or North is thrashed by Hawthorn.
