Dockers leave Demons licking wounds after 90-point win

FREMANTLE ran riot against a hapless Melbourne outfit, winning 19.16 (130) to 6.4 (40) at Patersons Stadium yesterday to keep up its push for a top-four spot.

The hosts were brilliant in the first half but relaxed a little after the break to kick six goals.

David Mundy was tireless, with 34 disposals and one goal, while Danyle Pearce (23 possessions) had one of his best games as a Docker.

Nathan Fyfe's goal after the full-time siren rubbed salt into the Demons' wounds, giving Fremantle a 90-point win.

Hayden Ballantyne and Tendai Mzungu kicked three goals each for the home team, while Jeremy Howe was among the Demons' best with 27 touches and two goals.
