DJs shake up beach

PARK Beach Reserve will come alive on Saturday night for one of the features of the annual CoastOut Festival.

Kicking off as the sun goes down Party in the Park will involve some of the country's top DJs spinning pumpin' beats to get party-goers up and dancing under the stars.

ARQ Sydney resident DJ and the man behind the beats at venues such as Taxi Club, Midnight Shift, Stonewall Hotel and Proud in Melbourne, DJ Justin Scott, will be joined by producer DJ Magnus who plays at IVy in Sydney and who got the mirror balls spinning at last year's Mardi Gras After Party.

Bootleg House, a collaboration between DJ Magnus with vocalist Paul Robert, will launch their new EP.

Former Coffs performer and now Cube Canberra diva Flangelina Jolie will perform.

On Sunday afternoon the reserve will host Grooves in the Park (gold coin admission) and from 5pm the Splash Beach Dance Party.
