Disney comes to Coffs Coast

GRAB a bowl of cornflakes and jump in front of the tele tomorrow morning – the Coffs Coast is set to star.

Popular kids television show Saturday Disney will be screening its Coffs Coast special show, filmed in the region last month.

Hosts Shae Brewster, Sally Stanton and Jack Yabsley will be showing off everything the region has to offer, from toboganning at the Big Banana, to swimming with the dolphins at the Pet Porpoise Pool and playing with butterflies at The Butterfly House.

“We had a great time filming,” Mr Yabsley said.

“(It) really is like a mini-break, Coffs is a great place and the weather has been fantastic,” Ms Brewster added.

“We only do about three location shots a year so it's nice to come to Coffs.”

Coffs Coast marketing manager Glenn Caldwell said this was a new area of promotion for the area.

“This is something different in terms of exposure, it's something we haven't really done before,” he said.

“Young families are certainly one of our target markets and in terms of exposure, it's a fantastic thing. This is two hours on a Saturday morning going straight into the lounge rooms of families across Australia.”

The show will air on Prime from 9am.
