THERE'S a program out there to enhance your child's confidence and make them realise they are full of potential and resilience.

Discovering Awesomeness is a program run in Bellingen by Seetha Herath designed to change the thinking of young adults by improving their academic, personal and social skills.

Late last year the pilot program ran and only last week did the official program commence.

"The pilot program ran brilliantly, I'm really satisfied and happy. The kids loved it and built up confidence”.

The program is separated into two different age groups, juniors from 10 to 14 on Tuesday afternoons and seniors from 15 to 19 on Wednesday afternoons.

There is still time to book to join in the course by either calling or walking in to the sessions.

Running for seven sessions at the Bellingen Hub, each class can have a maximum of 15 students.

"It's for parents who feel their kid will benefit from the program because they're so talented but don't know how to give them direction”.

"It will help them to become confident and build up resilience.”
