Dinner theatre – Viking style

FOR those locals who remember the days of Dracula Schmacula or Bite me Big Boy, Doctor Dick's Dilemma or Puttin' on the Titz, Fawlty Towers, Blackadder and the glory days of ad-lib dinner theatre at the Big Windmill, start smiling - they're back.

Familiar faces from the old Windmill Players, under the direction of the queen of comedic timing Pat Slattery, are taking to the stage at the Sawtell Golf Club for a strictly limited run of dinner dates to present The Vikings are Coming - or Ragnarok Around the Clock.

The story follows our intrepid band who seek to end the age of Ragnarok the age of Darkness, and bring an end to the reign of Odin and the Norse gods. They must find the Horn Resounding, and blow it in order to achieve their goal. Villains and vixens, queens, edgy dialogue, fun songs and plenty of laughter are all part of the mix.

Ticket price for the show and a three-course meal from Coffs Event Catering is just $50. Drinks may be purchased at the bar.

It all takes place at the Sawtell Golf Club on the evenings of November 28, December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20 and a matinee December 7.
