Desperate need to change habits to avert catastrophe

CONGRATULATIONS to the ABC series War on Waste and to the students and teachers at Suncoast Christian College.

Not only schools but also hotels, restaurants, cafes, retirement villages and nursing homes should be involved in a "war on waste”.

We have to change our habits.

No burning in the backyard or thinking everything goes to the green bin.

So much waste and our landfill is nearly full.

Think not only about yourself, but also think about the next generations.

If everybody would pick up one bottle, can etc. our lovely Australia would look much nicer.
