IN August Coffs Harbour will become the dental prosthetic capital of Australia.
The Australian Dental Prosthetists Association has announced it will be conducting its biennial Oral Health Congress in Coffs Harbour next year, attracting denture and mouthguard makers from across Australia and the world.
Chief executive officer Megan Lavender said the convention would be held from August 25-29 at the Novotel Pacific Bay Resort with additional satellite events and the partners tourism program to be convened along the Coffs Coast.
"Your city is the quintessential meeting place for DPs and oral health care professionals because, like any good set ofclackers, Coffs looks just so natural," Ms Lavender said.
"ADPA is also grateful to the NSW Government and, in particular, the Member for Coffs Harbour Andrew Fraser, for their invaluable support and assistance.
"Coffs Con 16 is a significant and substantial win for Coffs Harbour and regional NSW, with delegates eager to spend up in town and along the coast."
