Delights on offer at auxiliary stall
THE Woolgoolga and District Retirement Village Auxiliary will hold a street stall on Friday.
The stall will be held outside the chemist on Beach St between 9am and noon, and will offer a great display of plants, cakes, jams, relishes, sewn craft items and lots of hand-knitted items.
Members of the auxiliary work tirelessly to raise money to assist the village in purchasing items for the residents, which make life more comfortable but are not covered by government funding.
The members are currently working to raise funds for the installation of air-conditioning in the residents' dining room.
Auxiliary vice-president, Barbara, and treasurer, Betty, will be working at Friday's stall.
Both are long-time members who have worked tirelessly to assist in activities and raise funds for the retirement village.
