Deadly Days Festival comes to Coffs

ALL is in readiness for Coffs Harbour to host the Deadly Days Festival on Wednesday.

The Deadly Days Festivals "aim to give young Aboriginal and TorresStrait Islander people greater opportunities in education, employmentand training and get into a positive and healthy lifestyle".

When the festival heads to Coffs Harbour Education Campus, country music star Troy Cassar-Daley will be the headline act, while Alison Page from ABC's New Inventors Program will be host.

“We are expecting over 500 Aboriginal schoolchildren to attend,” TAFE's Greg Robson said.

Rugby league personalities Arthur Beetson, David Peachey and Doug Rose will hold footy workshops, while hip hop workshops will also feature.
