David Rodan should win Dancing With The Stars, says Tai Hara

HOME and Away actor Tai Hara is backing former AFL player David Rodan to win the Dancing With The Stars crown next week.

Rodan was in top form on Tuesday night, receiving perfect scores for both of his routines with dance partner Melanie Hooper.

His high-energy Bollywood routine was the highlight of the night, with judge Adam Garcia asking: "Is there anything you can't do?".

"If you look at David as a dancer, I think he's by far the best in terms of the entire series," Hara said.

"Anything he's been given he's absolutely smashed it. Obviously Lynne (McGranger) and Ricki (Lee Coulter) are beautiful but I'm backing Dave. I want to see my fellow amigo win."

Hara was eliminated from the hotly contested semi-final heat of the ballroom dancing show, but will return with all of the other eliminated celebrities to perform a group routine during Tuesday's grand final.

Tai Hara finished on a high with his Argentine Tango.

"I would have never thought 10 weeks ago I would have been dancing some of the dances I've been doing," he said.

"I take my hat off to all the professionals. I don't know how they do it year in and year out."

Despite Rodan sitting on top of the leader board, online betting agency SportsBet has singer Coulter as the favourite to win the show's mirror-ball trophy.

The Dancing With The Stars final airs on Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel 7.
