Date in court for indecent act in front of young girls

A 30 year-old man has been charged with three counts of committing an act of indecency after an incident in Sawtell.

About 2pm on Sunday, two 15-year-old girls and an 8-year-old girl were socialising near the Sawtell Rock Pool when they saw a man nearby.

The man allegedly exposed himself to the girls and committed an act of indecency.

Police were notified and an investigation commenced. A short time later, the man was arrested nearby.

He was taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station where he was charged, refused bail and due to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court.
