Dancing stars ready to shine

SALSA, showgirl, Cuban funk, contemporary, ball room and belly dancing are just some of the dance styles that will be showcased at this year's Stars of the Coffs Coast - Dance for Cancer.

The event, which is a gala fundraiser for the Cancer Council of NSW, will take place on November 14 at C.ex Coffs.

At the launch this week, 11 Coffs Coast stars were teamed up with a dynamic mix of local professional dancers to perform at the event. Each star commits to raise at least $3000.

The last Stars of Coffs Coast event was a sellout with 440 guests attending the gala evening and a whopping $110,000 raised to provide vital funding to Cancer Council NSW, which is 97% publicly funded.
