Damage to business ends in arrest

Malicious damage

A 33-year-old Corindi Beach man was arrested on March 13 by Woolgoolga Police in relation to a malicious damage offence on October 31 last year at a Queen Street, Woolgoolga, takeaway business.

Following the incident which caused several hundred dollars worth of damage to the business, police investigations identified the offender who was arrested and issued a court attendance notice.

Bail refused

A 19-year-old Coffs Harbour male has been refused bail following an incident at 12.15am yesterday morning. The man tried to gain entry to the Ex-Services Club before crossing Vernon St and vandalising property.

The man kicked a white Commodore station wagon and threw a garbage bin at a shop window. He then proceeded to kick a second shop window breaking it.

He has been refused bail.
