Criterium success for Coffs riders

COFFS Harbour cyclists took the top-four placings at the inaugural Yamba Criterium.

Winner Shaun Cameron was followed home by Will McClennon, Will Butcherine and Billy Ensby, and their impressive effort will be hard to beat.

Northern competitions continue to bring success with Jim Dolan, Andrew Hillier, Phil Almond and Mel Roach teaming up for second in Grafton's Mauri Kautto Memorial Time Trail.

The team finished just 20 seconds from the winner.

These events were followed with a visit by 14 senior riders to Coonabarabran for the Keegan Downes Memorial Sundowner Handicap.

Alex Beedie, Jim Dolan, Dan Alcock, Mel Roach, Beau Harper, Matt Vagg, Nathan Chiswell, Chris Yanz, Matt Hoy, Garry Cameron, Alex Swadling, Kerrod Parker, Nathan Hardaker and Alistair Lane were the riders involved and all finished the tough long-distance race with great results

Coffs Harbour Split Racing team rider Matt Hoy was the winner while Mel Roach was fastest female.

Dan Alcock was fastest in masters division.
