Crime spree in Coffs

SCHOOLS in the Coffs Harbour area had unwelcome visitors at the weekend.

Some time between 6pm on Friday and 6.30am yesterday, louts broke a window at Narranga Public School.

Intruders smashed a classroom window at William Bayldon Public School between 6pm on Friday and 6am yesterday.

They entered the room and stole a portable compact disc player.

Theives also stole two mountain bikes from the Park Beach Holiday Park at the weekend.

The bikes, valued at $1180, had been left next to a caravan when they were taken some time between 8pm on Saturday and 8.30am on Sunday.

Meantime, Police are trying to tracking down a quad bike stolen from a Woolgoolga farm vernight on Sunday.

The Elstar-brand black 250cc bike, which is worth $1700, was stolen from the property near Haviland Street.
