Creative arts grow in Botanic Garden

PAINTINGS, pottery, spinning weaving and woodwork are on show at the Botanic Garden conference room until April 27.

The art and craft exhibition is open daily from 9.30am to 4.30pm and entry is free.

Three well-known Coffs Coast artists - Marie Matthews, Carol Kirkman and Lisa Knox are displaying their works in oils, watercolours and acrylics.

Potters Joan McKeown and Carol Braggins have many pieces on show and spinner and weaver Marlene Doherty has hand-spun knitted, crocheted and felt garments, scarves and bags.

There is also a selection of woodwork including wood turning by Chris Braggins and Russ Riddett and jewellery boxes by Ray Steward.

All items are for sale and part of the proceeds go to benefit the Botanic Garden.
