Crash at notorious intersection
A CRASH between a car and a low loader trailer has left the car driver in hospital, his vehicle destroyed and it blocked southbound highway traffic for 30 minutes.
The 31-year -old man was driving his black Toyota Camry south on the highway about 10pm on Tuesday when it hit a trailer being towed to Brown and Hurley for repairs.
The trailer, which police said had no working side lights, was being towed to a workshop for repairs and was making a right turn from the highway into Hurley Drive, a notorious intersection.
This is the location where Bundagen woman Annie Vagg died in a car accident in December 2009 when her car collided with a B-double.
