Pacific Highway reopens after crash

UPDATE 10.45pm: THE Pacific Highway around Bangalow has now reopened following a crash between two trucks there this morning.

The Transport Management Centre reports diversions for light vehicles and stop/slow signs for trucks have been lifted and vehicles are able to use the highway normally.

8.45am: The Pacific Highway is closed in both directions near Bangalow Road after an accident between two trucks occurred this morning.

The accident happened at around 5.40am, and while no one was injured, police said, a diesel spill has occurred.

Diversions are now in place and motorists are advised to allow additional travel time.
