Court hears convicted murderer psychopathic

A man who bashed another man to death with a tomahawk at Young in regional New South Wales in 2013 has been described as a psychopath by his sentencing judge.

Owen Junior Fuller was sentenced to 32 years' imprisonment with a 17-year non-parole period for the murder of 33-year-old Corey Power.

Justice Stephen Rothman described Fuller, who was 18 at the time of the bashing, as having a psychopathic profile.

He said Fuller had used a former girlfriend's Facebook account to lure Mr Power away from the house he was staying in at Young on the night of his murder.
