Couple booted off flight for berating Ivanka Trump

AN IRATE passenger berated Ivanka Trump and "leered" at her kids aboard a JetBlue plane out of JFK, screaming, "Your father is ruining the country," according to a published report.

TMZ reports that Dan Goldstein, a Brooklyn lawyer spotted Ms Trump flying with husband Jared Kushner and their three children.

"Why is she on our flight. She should be flying private," he reportedly said.

Ms Trump reportedly stayed cool and tried to distract her children with crayons but Mr Goldstein and his husband, Matthew Lasner were kicked off the flight.

The airline removed the pair with Mr Goldestin saying, "You're kicking me off for expressing my opinion?" according to TMZ.

Mr Lasner disputed the reported version of events.

"My husband expressed his displeasure in a calm tone, JetBlue staff overheard, and they kicked us off the plane," he said.

An hour prior to that Mr Lasner wrote on Twitter: "Ivanka and Jared at JFK T5, flying commercial. My husband chasing them down to harass them. #banalityofevil."

They were travelling from New York City to Palm Beach, Florida for Christmas.

JetBlue released a statement defending their decision.

"The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly. If the crew determines that a customer is causing conflict on the aircraft, the customer will be asked to deplane, especially if the crew feels the situation runs the risk of escalation during flight. Our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight," the airline said.

The president-elect's daughter, her kids and some cousins were all flying economy on JetBlue.
