Council has strong case: Graham

MARK Graham has publicly extended congratulations to the Coffs Harbour City Council general manager Steve McGrath for going to the Land and Environment Court over Hearnes Lake.

Cr Graham said he wanted to congratulate and support the GM for his decision under delegation and thank his fellow councillors for recognising the strong case the council had.

“There has been huge support from the community to take action and the council has acted wonderfully in accordance with the community’s wishes,” the Greens councillor said.

“All the advice we have had is that the council has a very strong case.”
