Cool week for youth
PIONEER Park was no place for the older generation on Saturday as local youths enjoyed the start of Youth Week 2010.
Dancing, fashion parades and art were all part of the festivities for local teenagers.
TV presenter, comedian and author Gretel Killeen was on hand to sign copies of her latest book ‘I love you Zelda Bloo’. Ms Killeen also appeared at a dance party held on Saturday night at the Cavanbah Centre.
The dance party was the place to be seen with many local bands and DJs creating an alcohol-free party atmosphere.
