Complaint against council GM goes ahead

COFFS Harbour businessman Ian Hogbin has confirmed he will proceed with a formal complaint against Coffs Harbour City Council general manager Steve McGrath.

At last week's council meeting, Mr Hogbin said he was going to complain formally about lack of consultation and disruption to business over council work in Park Ave surrounding the reconstruction of the bus stops and public transport waiting areas.

On Friday Mr McGrath said Mr Hogbin had previously been provided with information to assist him in lodging a complaint if he felt that was the action he wanted to take.

"Today, a further email reminder was sent to Mr Hogbin, referring to the earlier email that was sent to him," Mr McGrath said

"Any formal complaint received shall be investigated."
