Company deal benefits printers
GLADSTONE Printing Services has been in QGC's supply chain since 2011 and that has allowed the company to employ and train an apprentice.
Jackie Mannix (left) is the manager of Gladstone Printing Services and said the apprentice had been signed up via QGC's Strengthening Local Workforces Program.
"Laura is now in her third year of graphic designer and printer press," she said.
"It has also allowed the company to get an ISO9001:2008 quality management system."
It's a relationship that, she says, gives QGC some assurance of the quality of the work they're getting.
It's a big step forward for the company that started in 1980 by Jackie's stepfather and mother who moved to the city from Brisbane.
