Come live in the Dubmarine

THIS is a band that really know their stuff, and stamp it as immediately recognisable.

They'll get you stamping too - Dubmarine have a rhythm that says hello to the hip region, drowning out your protests with trademark bass-driven foundations, twin trombone blasts and thunderous synth explosions.

Lead by the vocals of indigenous superstar and Gangulu man D-Kazman, Dubmarine has had a sparkling 2011, returning from a highly successful European tour and being nominated for Queensland Music and Deadly awards.

Dubmarine's first full length album, Depth of Sound, is beautifully produced and showcases the band's effortless funk.

It covers a vast array of genres including reggae, drum and bass, dubstep, hip hop, dancehall, and minimal - it's got a fat sonic soundscape and downright dirty beats.

And that's just the beginning... Catch them at the Ocean View Hotel, May 5.
