Coffs special in show many ways

MAKE sure you are comfy on your couch this Saturday evening, when the Coffs Coast features on the travel program Sydney Weekender.

The popular weekend travel show will be showcasing the Coffs Coast and all it has to offer - with a focus on accommodation at Darlington Beach Holiday Park.

The show is set to show off all the jewels the Coffs Coast crown, with host Mike Whitney and the team visiting a number of attractions during the filming, including the Butterfly House and taking a helicopter over Gleniffer Falls.

Coffs Coast marketing manager, Rob Cleary, said the shoot will showcase the beauty of the Coffs Coast.

"It's going to be a great show, showcasing the Coffs Coast from the air, from the ground, trying out restaurants, natural parks, and Darlington Beach Holiday Park as a special accommodation feature," Mr Cleary said.

Students from Mullaway Primary School and Corindi Public School were invited to attend the shoot at Darlington Beach Holiday Park, where they played beach cricket with Mr Whitney.

Darlington Beach Holiday Park marketing manager, Graeme Soloman, said it was exciting.

"I think our environmental eco-sensitivity makes us stand out. Mike Whitney gravitated toward us," he said.

He said the main attractions in Coffs Harbour will be pulling together to offer some great deals during the next few months.

"We'll also have the 'hot deal' on the show," he said.

Don't miss the Coffs Coast special of Sydney Weekender on Prime from 5.30pm, Saturday.
