The Coffs rip-off

GREG White's column ("Fuel Farce" CCA 30/6) was spot on, especially the comments on collusion.

It's not surprising we are paying near the state's highest price for fuel because Coffs has always been a rip-off town.

Anyone who doesn't think there is price collusion between operators is having themselves on.

Of course the operators continually deny it, why wouldn't they?

I always tell visiting family and friends to avoid buying their fuel in Coffs, unfortunately if you live locally you have no choice.

The greatest scam of all is the ridiculous price we have to pay for diesel.

Last week I filled up with diesel on the Gold Coast at eight cents a litre cheaper than prices in Coffs, and the same company - BP.

How can they possibly justify such a price difference?

We are getting dudded big time.
