Pet road show arrives in Coffs

DOG-lovers have treated their best friends to some ‘pooch pampering’ on the Coffs Coast.

The largest national road show dedicated to dogs pulled into town on Sunday, offering owners tips and advice on pet health, training and behaviour.

Leading dog care website PawClub.com.au is setting out to discover how much NSW residents love their dogs, through a campaign called ‘Heart Your Dog’.

Leading vet and media personality Dr Michael Archinal said Coffs Harbour achieved high ‘heart’ figures, but it’s always possible to better share the love.

“There were a few gaps in how they show their love for their dogs through preventative care,” Dr Archinal said.

“Coffs Harbour residents proved how much they care for their dog, not only with how often they walk their dogs and how many cuddles they are showered with, but also with their regular veterinary visits and treatment for heartworm, ticks and fleas,” he said.

PawClub.com.au, is a new dog care website developed by Pfizer Animal Health Australia aimed at prospective and current dog owners.

The road show began in Brisbane in November and has continued on route to Sydney.
