Coffs pair make All-Star team

COFFS Harbour pair Aimee Durbidge and Robbie Linton received an outstanding award last week by making the State League All-Star Five for the season.

This is a prestigious achievement as only five women and five men are selected from all of the State League players throughout NSW. A massive pat on the back considering the level of talent playing in the State League each week.

The selection of Durbidge is as much recognition for the Suns’ season as it is for the pointscoring machine.

The Coffs Harbour women’s team was the only team that did not have a current or ex-NBL player in its line up, which shows the strength and development of basketball in Coffs Harbour.

Robbie Linton has achieved another milestone in his career, gaining a sports scholarship in the United States at the University of Ohio.
