Coffs kids take club title at martial arts gathering

COFFS Harbour's CFTA Martial Arts has reaped the rewards from hours of hard work claiming a swag of impressive results at the World Martial Arts Alliance Open Discipline Tournament.

A squad of 25 competed at Club Coffs, bringing home an incredible 35 team and individual trophies.

The impressive result saw them named the tournament's club champion.

"I couldn't be happier with how everyone performed," Sensei Michael Landas said.

"Many of the kids had never competed in competition before so to do this well is just great.

"It is great to watch them grow and hopefully continue these great results in future competition."
